Welcome to my portfolio. I write poetry and essays, many of which have been published in journals across Canada and in Ireland. I studied creative writing at the University of New Brunswick Saint John where I earned a Masters of English Lit and Creative Writing. I also earned a PhD in English Language and Literature from the University of Waterloo, where my focus was Canadian poetry and “regionalism.” I currently live in Nova Scotia with my family and work as a school librarian. I also grow food and flowers whenever possible.
